Hello. My name is Nancy Wintner, owner of Pittsburgh-based GWN Consultants, a marketing and public relations firm which specializes in helping small to medium sized companies and professional service firms attract new clients.
Clients include business owners, principals and professionals including certified public accountants, attorneys, healthcare/medical professionals, investment advisors/financial planners, architects, engineers, estate settlement specialists, international staffing agencies, authors, among others.
Why should you hire us?
We may be the only Pittsburgh marketing firm that uses a practical, innovative, client-driven, problem-solution approach to marketing that helps companies attract new clients and customers. It is an approach that presents you to prospects and clients in a way you never considered and gets to the heart of your clients’ needs and challenges. This strategy will help you triumph over your competition.
As a result, buyers will be inclined to choose you rather than your competitor across the street. Clients tell us that we care, give 1000 percent and are more effective than other marketing providers they have retained. See client testimonials.
Prior to starting my company two decades ago, I served nearly a decade with Ketchum Public Relations—one of the nation's premier public relations agencies—where I promoted a variety of companies and industries including entertainment, finance, healthcare and banking, as well as nationally-recognized consumer products.
Nancy Wintner is certified as an Accredited Public Relations (APR) Executive—the highest possible certification for a public relations professional—which is awarded by the Public Relations Society of America.
During my agency tenure, two of my most prestigious accounts included the highly-acclaimed, award-winning National Geographical Television Specials and the popular KOOL JAZZ Festivals, where I spearheaded local, regional and national publicity. Ketchum received three awards as a result of my publicity efforts for the National Geographic Specials.
Following Ketchum, I served as Marketing Director for a few Pittsburgh area professional service firms where I developed, spearheaded and implemented business and practice development marketing and public relations plans.
Outside activities include serving five years on the Board of Directors for SMC Business Councils, a non-profit organization which represents the interests of Pennsylvania small businesses. During that time, I also served as Chairwoman of SMC's Marketing/Communications Committee. In 2009, the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners honored me for my 15 years as a volunteer marketing professional for SMC where I offered on-going advice and direction.
